Nicolas Cage Arrested And Bailed Out In New Orleans



The actor, producer and director Nicolas Cage was arrested and bailed out in New Orleans on Saturday and was charged with disturbing the peace and domestic abuse, reports CNN.

Nicolas Cage, who's currently filming a movie in the city, was arrested after 'getting drunk last night in the French Quarter and arguing in the street with his wife, New Orleans police department spokesman Officer Garry Flot said in a statement.

Flot said, Nicolas Cage and his wife Alice Kim were fighting about the location of their rental property when Cage grabbed her by the upper arm and pulled her to what he believed was the correct address. There were no visible injuries.

Nicolas Cage was booked into Orleans Parish Prison Saturday morning and released later that day. His bond was set at $11,000.


The actor Nicolas Cage is scheduled to appear in court on 31 May 2011.
