Jill Zarin Denies Firing From 'The Real Housewives Of New York City'

Jill Zarin denied a Huffington Post report that she was fired from the Bravo reality series 'The Real Housewives of New York City'. Zarin's representative told Us Weekly magazine late Thursday that she is still 'in discussions' about returning for season 5 of the program.

The 47-year-old Zarin is an original member of the 'Housewives' cast, and has been involved in a number of controversial plot lines over the last two years. The show's fourth season averaged 2.65 million total viewers for Bravo in the second quarter, up 10% from the same period in 2010.

The Bravo has been a ratings winner for NBC Universal, now majority-owned by Comcast Corp. CMCSA +1.46% , as its cable networks have been the main profit center for the entertainment unit.

Various reports have said that along with Jill Zarin, cast members Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon will be gone when the fifth season begins.
