The Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has found himself in a little bit of hot water with everyones favorite institution, the United States government. Technically it's the California government, but let's be honest government is government.The California government claims that Rodman owes them $42,497 in back taxes.
The word coming from the Rodman camp is that this is not possibly true because he just received a refund check from the same California government for between $42,000-$43,000.
The eccentric Rodman made a career of being a rebel and a bad boy in his 15 years in the NBA. He was a great defensive player in his prime, winning NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 1990 and 1991.
He has had his share of legal troubles having been arrested for drunken driving and domestic violence charges on two separate occasions.
Despite all of his NBA accomplishments pale in comparison to his legendary stint in World Championship Wrestling back in the late-90's when he was engaged in a feud with Karl Malone. Who would have thought that Rodman would be the craziest of everyone involved in those crazy angles.
