Fergie Full Of Nervous Excitement About Performing Super Bowl

Fergie says she is full of 'nervous excitement' about performing at the Super Bowl.

The Black Eyed Peas are set to perform during the halftime show at the American football game between Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers this evening. The group can’t wait to take to the stage and believe they are the perfect choice to entertain audiences at the world famous sports event. However, Fergie and her bandmates will.i.am, Taboo and apl.de.ap are experiencing last-minute nerves ahead of their performance.

Fergie told People, It'll be a party in the middle of the game. Whether your team is winning or losing, we want to make you have a good time. That's our goal.

We are feeling nervous excitement. It's a gig that everybody wants. It feels so natural with us partnering up with the NFL because we're sports fans and we write a lot of sports anthems. It's what we do. It's a good combination, like chips and salsa.

Fergie’s husband Josh Duhamel flew into Texas to join her this weekend and he will be in the crowd cheering her on when she performs at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

While, it has been revealed singer and actress Jennifer Lopez and her singer husband Marc Anthony have been invited to Barack Obama’s Super Bowl party. They will join around 100 other guests in watching the game with the US President at the White House. Jennifer and Marc are part owners of the Miami Dolphins and are keen American football fans.
