Meryl Streep To Team Up With Devil Wears Prada Director David Frankel!

Meryl Streep is reportedly set to team up with The Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel for new movie Great Hope Springs.

The actress Meryl played magazine editor Miranda Priestly in Prada, has been circling the new role for some time but didn’t want to sign up until a director was on board for the project.

However Frankel is now in final talks on taking the helm of the film about a middle-aged couple who attend a counseling weekend to look at their intimacy issues after 30 years of marriage.

The script has been written by Vanessa Taylor while Guymon Casady and Todd Black are set to produce.

The movie is set to start filming in August and the release date has not yet been confirmed.

Meryl Streep recently admitted she wouldn’t dream of becoming an actress in this day and age.

The world was different when I was a young actress, she said, these days there’s so much scrutiny, everyone’s so self aware, and that self consciousness is the thing that kills your acting ability.
